a former employee of RocketDyne in the US wrote a book titled "We never went to the Moon", he claimed many thing with his insider knowledge and was alleged to be the Ghost writer for the movie "Capricorn One" in which a mission to Mars was faked.
wrote the book titled "It was only a Paper Moon" much along the same lines as Bill Kaysing
authors of "Dark Moon - Apollo and the Whistle Blowers", an account in which the authors claim that the photographs are flawed on purpose so that people would realise in years to come that the missions were faked
has appeared on T.V. and has written articles for various magazines about the "Apollo Conspiracy".

What do some ( not all ) of the people who put forward these theories have to gain? The answer is Money. The more these outrageous theories are discussed the more books they sell or the more media coverage they receive. Exactly what these people want!
You could argue that I am adding to this publicity and you could be correct, however, I personally could not let their claims go unchallenged.
