Take a look at this web site and then consider my points below

I must agree with the statement on this web site that states that if people could be bothered to do the research and look at the pictures then they would see the facts.

It's just a shame that the author doesn't fall into this category.

I have three points to make:
• If you do a little research you would see that the scale on the EVA map is in KILOMETRES and not miles. See page 49 of The Apollo 17 press pack which is the same diagram. 38 % error just for starters.
• The author is correct that the background is the same but that is because the photos have been taken in a similar direction. As on earth when you take a picture of a mountain range and then move a KILOMETRE or so and take another picture the foreground changes but the mountains are still there. For your information all the photos are orientated east towards the EAST MASSIF and away from the sun.
• Picture Four is NOT the last resting place of the rover, don't forget the footage taken from the rover camera of lift-off. Or was that fake as well?

Oops I nearly forgot the best bit from this site

Look at Picture One below, it shows two objects that the author says are similar in size, i.e. the equipment is too big to fit in the LEM as it is similar in size to the rock.

Question ? Does the author understand the concept of near and far away?. Answer No!

Let me explain, sometimes objects that are near seem bigger than larger objects that are far away because the viewer is nearer to the objects that is near and therefore it appears larger than the object that is far away.
